رحمان بابا ایک پشتو زبان کا ممتاز فلسفی شاعر تھے ، آپ پشتو کے سب سے بڑے اور ممتاز شاعروں میں شمار کیا جاتا ہے۔ وہ 1632 میں ایک گاؤں بہادر کلے میں پیدا ہوا تھا۔رحمان بابا ایک فقیر انسان تھے اور فقر کی زندگی گزارتے تھے ، اور ان کی زیادہ تر نظمیں 1660 اور 1710 کے آس پاس لکھی گئیں۔ رحمان بابا کلام بہت گہری سوچ اور علمی سلیقے سے بھرپور ہیں۔ عام ادمی کبھی اسکے اشعار کی گہرائی نہیں سمجھ سکتے۔
